The church has been founded on the Word of God(1 Thess. 1:6), the message of the gospel of Jesus Christ. The same Word that brings us salvation also enables us to live for Christ and endure suffering for His sake.

Scripture also says, “All who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution” (2 Tim. 3:12 NKJV) for His sake.
Keep your focus on Jesus Christ, He is the author and finisher of your faith.
Every blessing.

When you face trials

At various points in our lives, we will all face trials, and God’s way of conforming us to the image of His Son is often a path that includes reshaping, moulding, training, and developing our character. And so often all of those things happen through trials and crises. Please read James 1:2-4.
Whatever time of testing you are experiencing right now, you can be assured that it is under God’s sovereign control, just as it was for the Israelites at the water of Marah, just as it was for Moses and Joshua and Abraham, and the many other great heroes and heroines of the Bible.
The Bible says, “all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose” (Romans 8:28 NKJV). This doesn’t mean that we can escape the difficulties of this life, but it means that God can use these experiences to make us more like Him.

To every child of God out there, this is just to assure you that even during these difficult times your God is your supplier in terms of all your needs. So keep trusting Him regardless of how the outward circumstances may feel or look like. Just keep confessing His Word over yourself and your family until it becomes a reality in that seemingly impossible situation. David said, “I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread.” (Psalms‬ ‭37:25‬ ‭NIVUK‬‬).

Shalom.

I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread.

The verse below is really igniting our hearts here @ KCC:
“May the favour of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us – yes, establish the work of our hands.” (Psalms‬ ‭90:17‬ ‭NIVUK‬‬).
We are truly experiencing a new move of the Spirit of God and He is definitely establishing the work of our hands here @ KCC. He is building His church and we feel so blessed and highly favoured in all we are doing presently.

May the favour of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us – yes, establish the work of our hands.

Hello guys, it’s been a while since I posted something to encourage you. Since the beginning of this week l have been wanting to bless someone with the following Scripture: “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit” (Romans 15:13). Is the God of hope really part of your life, are you truly anchored in Him? Without Him there’s no overflowing with hope! Notice also the phrase ‘as you trust in Him’. I hope you are trusting in Him, otherwise the chance of enjoying this Christian life will be zero. Why? Because you won’t be filled with joy and peace & there won’t be any overflowing with hope through the Spirit. What a great Word, please meditate on it and begin to speak it upon your life & over your family.
Have a blessed week/weekend.
Shalom,
Pastor Sam.

We have to believe that our lives are the most precious gifts that we have ever been given. So it is necessary for us to protect this precious gem that we have been blessed with by God. We need to remember that the life we have is not our own but it belongs to God. So, in the same way we try to protect and save our money by putting it into the best bank account; we must also place our lives in the best hands possible. That is the hands of Christ in order for Him to protect and preserve the most precious gift we received from Him. We know that the enemy only comes to steal, kill and destroy that precious gift. So how do we preserve ourselves from destruction? By totally surrendering our all to the Lord. If you haven’t done so, now is the time!
Today if you hear His voice do not harden your heart. He has come that we may have life and have it to the full! You are so special to Him, that is why He created you in His image.

There is enough happening in our world to terrify us. These include, natural and man-made disasters, health crisis, family estrangement, broken relationships, betrayal and work crisis. It will even cause us to question the existence of God. However, we must remember that God never promised a life without troubles, but he promised never to leave us nor forsake us. Therefore, whatever your enemy is today, find comfort in the fact that God is with you. 🙏

It was more than 2000 years ago when Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey. “So they took branches of palm trees and went out to meet him, crying out, Hossana! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord, even the Kind of Israel!” John 12: 13.

As much as we reflect on Palm Sunday, we need to also look forward in preparation and excitement for his return according to Mark 13:26 “At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in the clouds with great power and glory”. I’m sure that it will be a glorious day!
