Keswick Methodist Church As the Methodist Church in Keswick we welcome both local people and visitors. It's good to see you! Sunday morning worship: 10.30am, followed by tea and coffee.

Currently we're still wearing face coverings in the building (except when we're having tea or coffee) and leaving space between households or groups - but we are singing again!

Today is our last of three Convention Sunday worship services. We welcome Nate Morgan Locke to preach and Rev David Hasson to lead the service. Nate is a filmmaker, preacher and “Reformed Mythologist” teaching on storytelling, theology and culture. Come early to enjoy a pre-service sing (and be sure of getting a seat). The service starts at 10.30am but doors open at 10am or slightly earlier. Nate is leading seminars on Epic Narratives and the Deeper Christian Story on Thursday and Comfort Watching and the Deeper Christian Story on Friday in the Packing Hall at the Pencil Factory.

It's that time of year again when we welcome you to Keswick for the 3 weeks of the Convention starting next Saturday 18th July at 7pm. As usual, we'll be relaying the Seminars, Wednesday lecture, Bible Readings and the Evening Celebrations from the main tent. During the week we open at 9.00am and will be serving refreshments in between the sessions which include hot and cold drinks, cakes. scones and traybakes. Soup in a mug and a roll will be available from 12.45pm until 1.30pm. We also have our usual excellent fundraising stall, where you can buy a range of items which include our new 2027 calendars, coasters, puddings, greetings cards, pictures, sheep baubles, books, Holy socks and jigsaws. Proceeds from our charity coffee morning this Saturday, 23 May, will go to Christian Aid. The cakes will be yummy, the coffee will be flavourful and the chat will be awesome! As usual we'll have bric a brac, jigsaws and books for sale too.

We had a great Christian Aid service this morning when Joyce and Roy shared this work being done in Nairobi and we reflected on how we can help our global neighbours as well as those nearer to home.

All welcome. Tea, coffee and cakes included in £3 admission. See you in the church hall on Southey Street.
