It’s June which means it the month of the Sacred Heart! ❤️‍🔥

What a beautiful representation of God’s unending, sacrificial love for us, His people.

❤️ - representing His human heart and its Divine love. He is often depicted giving it to whoever is looking at the picture - you!
🔥 - I’d His all consuming love burning consistently and wildly for you!
👑 - reminding us of His passion, sacrifice and love for each of us!
🩸- reminding us of the soldier who pierced Christ on the cross in His final moments
✝️ - reminding us of redemption and His victory on the cross

So really, it’s a big remainder of His love for YOU! In all the pictures He is offering it to YOU - all He Has…..

This week is mental health awareness week.

It’s easy to think that we have to be in a good place to talk to Jesus, that all our problems have to be fixed and that we have to be free of anxiety or depression or anything that weighs us down. It makes sense, right? We should be perfect before we come before the perfect God of the universe - an easy trap to fall into.

Here’s the truth:
No where ever does Jesus say, ‘suffer alone.’ Nor does it say, ‘you have to have everything sorted for Jesus to love you.’
In fact, it says quite the contrary! Jesus tells us ‘come broken hearted, come you weary ones, I will give you rest.’

Jesus is not afraid of the mess. He’s not afraid of the pain. He’s not afraid of imperfection.
His love is SO much bigger than anything we could struggle with. In the light of His love, no darkness survives.
You are not a project or something to be fixed. YOU are His beloved and all He longs is to love YOU!

Whether it’s you or someone you know struggling with their mental health, no one was created to struggle or heal alone. Reach out, spread the love and be aware.

Whoever gets this job will be working in a high school, among other places, but also embedded within the community. A chance to get some great skills as well as personal formation!
