We are excited to be opening our doors for our first Play Cafe. Pop in for tea, toast and play between 9am & 11am today. It will be a lovely place to play when it’s to wet for the park. For under 5’s and their carers.

And just like that our regular groups and clubs are back. But we also are excited to start a new Play Cafe on Tuesday mornings, 9-11am in St. Nicholas church not the church hall.

It’s the last Festival of Play today.

It’s going to be a little different but very special. Come along to St. Nicholas church at 2.30 to find out what is happening. We would love you to come along.

Followed by our last youth cafe of the summer where there will be plenty of games and see snack.

It’s the last week of the festival of play and we have some lovely activities and play lined up for children. This Tuesday and Thursday afternoon from 2-4.
Out themes are lifecycles and birds.

On Thursday is the last youth cafe from 4-6. It’s been a lot of fun. For those going into year 6-8.

Everyone welcome to the church picnic in the church hall and garden from 11.30 onwards. This Sunday. Bring a picnic for yourself and your household, something to sit on.

There will be games, chat and good company,

Tomorrow is the big breakfast at cafe Sunday 10am at St. Barnabas church. Come and grab a sausage or bacon sandwich there will be plenty.

The ducks are already queuing and quacking to get in to church for the festival of play this afternoon. From 2-4pm.

On the menu today

For starters we have the play ice cream cafe and pizzeria.

For mains we have a craft featuring confetti

And for dessert we have a giant Jenga game.

It’s slightly cooler in the church. 😎

From 4-6 we have a youth cafe for those going into years 6-8. A place to hangout with friends.

Who’s coming to the festival of play?

On our play menu we have
A big brick wall
In the middle aisle we have hula hoops
And for dessert all our crafts are ice cream based.

We are open from 2-4 today.

Followed by our first ever youth cafe in St. Nicholas church. From 4-6. For those going into year 6-8. A place to hang out with your friends.

The flowers are ready to welcome you to the Festival of play this afternoon.

Come on in and discover a whole world of play, crafts, building activities, games. For children from babies to 10 years old. Don’t forget to bring your grown up, they might enjoy it too.
