VOLUNTEERS WANTED!

Could you spare a few hours to help Theo’s Charity Shop in Kenfig Hill?

Theo’s is looking for friendly volunteers to join our team and help in the shop.

Volunteering is a great way to meet people, support the local community, gain confidence, and be part of a welcoming local team.

You could help with:

• serving customers
• sorting donations
• pricing items
• keeping the shop tidy and welcoming
• chatting with visitors

No experience is needed — just a willing pair of hands and a friendly smile.

Whether you can offer a morning, an afternoon, or a few hours now and again, we would love to hear from you.

🍂 Harvest Festival at St Theodore’s Church, Kenfig Hill 🍂

Join us this Sunday at 10am for our Family Harvest Service – a time to give thanks for all God’s blessings.

We would love donations of flowers and/or dried goods, which will be passed on to the local Food Bank to support those in need.

📌 The church will be open on Friday 3rd October, 2–3pm to receive donations.

Everyone is warmly welcome – come and celebrate the joy of Harvest with us! 🌾✨

✨ Today’s Ministry Area service was a wonderful opportunity to say thank you to Fr Jon and David for all they have given to St Theodore’s Church over the past 15 years, and to the Ministry Area during the last 3½ years.

🙏 We wish them both every blessing as they continue their journey in the service of God and His Church in Skewen.

The service was very well attended — a joyful celebration of what coming together as a Ministry Area is all about: friendship, love, mutual support, and shared faith.

💐 Thank you, Fr Jon, for your faithfulness, kindness, and service. You will be greatly missed, and the love and care you’ve shown will remain with St Theodore’s, the Ministry Area and community.
