Beacon Team Joint Service 30th August
This week all the churches in the Beacon Team Mission Community are meeting together for worship; the service is at St John the Baptist Church, Skelsmergh at 11am.
We look forward to seeing you there.
(there are no other services in the other churches in the Beacon Team this Sunday).

What are you doing next Wednesday lunchtime, 12th August?
Come along to listen to the Wilkinson Pipe Organ at St George's Church, Castle St Kendal. Join us for this lunchtime recital by Graham Toft BSc FPA (Music Director at Christ Church Lancaster). Free admission with retiring collection

Refreshments will be served from 12 noon and the recital will start at 1pm

5th August is the Feast Day of St Oswald
He was an Anglo-Saxon king of Northumbria from 633 to 642 who introduced Celtic Christian missionaries to his kingdom.

Join us at 9.30am at St Oswald's Church, Burneside,as we celebrate Holy Communion this Wednesday.
