Serving!

We had a good time discussing and understanding what Proverbs 3:27-30 meant. We listened to a song about Jesus helping save Peter in the water. ( Keep your eyes on Jesus) This was an example of helping others when they needed it. Serving in ways which make an impact just like Christ. They drew pictures and came up with great understanding from it.

Below 😁 👇🏼 are their pictures and comments.

We had so much fun on Sunday 13th September Connect Church Ivybridge. We asked questions as ice breakers as a relaxed way back from the new start and changes which come with a new school year. We played some silly games like magic chair, where it could become anything! (racing car, obstacle course, sewing machine, being at the hairdressers)

We also played a chair swap game with one person in the middle saying "if you go to church, change seats" or "if you are wearing blue, change seats!" to try and get someone's seat,in turn, leaving them in the middle.

We ended with some quiet time listening to God and seeing if he had a word, picture or feeling for any of the children.

They each left with a backpack 🎒 prayer 🙏🏼 to keep with them in their school bags for the year. A little reminder for them to read or know was with them.

Below 😁 👇🏼 is a video capturing some of the session.
