Good afternoon
Just remembered an important bit of information - The Bridge Community Cafe will be closed this Friday as it is Good Friday. We do have a service at 10.30am and all are welcome and our Easter Day service is also 10.30am on Sunday.

We’ve recently had items, including baby toys and a buggy, left outside our building without arrangement. While we appreciate the thought, this is classed as fly-tipping and costs us money to dispose of, taking funds away from our community work.

If you’d like to donate, please contact us first so we can advise what we’re able to accept.

Good morning, everyone.
We have this group starting next Friday (13th Feb) and it sounds like a perfect way to spend a couple of hours. Bring a project to work on. I will have a selection of mindful pictures available to colour if you would prefer to do that.
On the 2nd Friday of the month the U3A scrabble group meet here as well.
The Bridge is opposite the Leisure centre.

We want to say a massive thank you to everyone in Ivybridge and the surrounding area who donated so generously to this year’s Toy Appeal. Your kindness and generosity will help bring real joy to local children and families this Christmas.

A special thank you to Poundland Ivybridge and Tesco Lee Mill for once again supporting the appeal and collecting donations in store — your support has made a huge difference.

✨ One Final Push for This Year’s Toy Appeal ✨

We’re now in our final week of collecting donations before our wonderful volunteers begin putting together bags of carefully selected presents for children and families in need of support this Christmas.

If you’re able to help, we’re still collecting brand new, unwrapped toys for ages 0–17. Every gift, big or small, helps bring joy and hope to a local child this Christmas.

📍 Drop-off: The Bridge (opposite the Leisure Centre)
🕙 Wed–Fri, 10am–4pm
📅 Final day: Friday 5th December

🛒 Donations can also be made at Poundland Ivybridge and Tesco Lee Mill (store-purchased items only).

While we’re unable to take in large-item donations right now due to limited storage, we do have a wonderful selection of bigger essentials already waiting for new homes.

If you’re in need of a pram, buggy or cot. Please get in touch before buying new. You might be surprised at what we already have ready to pass on — often barely used and full of life left to give.

Reach out anytime — we’re always happy to help and make sure good items stay in our community rather than going to waste. 🌼✨
