Goodness but the bank holiday weekend at the end of May was hot - bbq's, beach trips and basking will have featured for many of us! Let's keep our fingers crossed for ongoing summer weather with just a spot of rain here an there to top up the water butts.
Quick reminder that entries are open for the Cornwood Challenge 10km and 4km Fun Run, visit www.sientries.co.uk. It's a lovely, if hard, course and such a great atmosphere of support for all entrants.

December!!! Christmas !!! Have you got your tree up, are your front gardens a veritable blaze of twinkling lights? Whether you are a Christmas decs ninja or prefer a more simple style, I'm sure it's just perfect. I do love the festive season, all the trappings, for sure but also to spend time with family and friends, remembering why we have Christmas and simply being grateful for all my blessings. October is starting with Storm Amy up in Scotland and not especially nice weather ourselves! I find October is often a quiet month as life settles in for shorter days, maybe even the heating on of an evening? Perhaps a woolly hat and our big coats? And before the excitements of December approach.

September has arrived, new school years are starting, new adventures for many who head off to "Big" school, to secondary school, and maybe even to university, good luck to them all. I've been making jam and chutney, a very Autumn sort of activity as the days draw in.
