Irvine Old Parish Church Irvine Old Parish Church is part of the Church of Scotland and is in the Presbytery of South West of Scotland.

The church, built in 1774, is open every Sunday for worship and everyone is welcome to join with the church family at 11:00 Irvine Old is a member of Eco-Congregation Scotland

Todays service is the Kirkin' of the Captain of the Carters for 2026 Andy Tremble.

Congratulations Andy on becoming the first ex Captain that has been reappointed to the role after 23 years away from the top job!

Andy is also the joint longest serving Captain having served as Captain from 1997 to 2003.

This morning we welcomed to the church the staff and pupils of Glebe Primary to the end of term service. As usual the pupils families came to support them.
It has been a privilege to have seen the P7s grow up and now finish their primary education and set off on their journey into secondary school.
It was those same pupils that ran this mornings event with music, reflections and humour.
