St. Peter's Church, Irthlingborough

St. Peter's Church, Irthlingborough St Peter's Church is the Parish Church Irthlingborough. From it's foundation in 1388 it has seeked to lead worship of God and Service to its Community.

There are various groups held at the church:

St. Peters Under Fives (SPUFS) Monday 2-3pm (term time)
Mothers Union -2.30pm (3rd Tuesday each month)
Craft Group (knitting/sewing etc.) 2pm - (2nd/4th Wednesday each month)
Bell Ringing practice - Wednesday evenings 7.30pm (contact Margaret Bull)
Choir Practice - Friday evening 7pm


Sunday Services:

8am - Holy Communion
10.30am - Holy Communion & J

unior Church (5-11yrs) (except Family/Parade services)
- Family Service/Messy Church is 2nd Sunday of each month
5pm - Evening Prayers

Creche/Play area is available for parents with small children

Maurice’s Holiday

We told Maurice the last leg of his world tour was via Paris. He was most impressed but was surprised that the Effel Tower was only 100m from Big Ben he’d seen on day one.

‘Well it’s a small world Maurice’. We said and he seemed content with the explanation. He is looking forward to getting back to bubble church on Sunday to share his adventures with his puppet friends.

This Saturday 12th September 10am to 12 Noon. Trips every 30 Minutes.

Maurice's Holiday Part 5

To be honest Maurice has been a bit naughty. During a visit to the Old Royal Castle, Maurice managed to change all the electronic tour guides and videos into English, much to the annoyance of the Tour Party following behind. In fact, he was so effective at this that the castle management turned off the English option two thirds of the way through after all he was the only British Monkey visiting the castle at the time). At present it is unclear whether Maurice was acting alone, or whether the suave and sophisticated clerical gentleman who may, or may not, have been accompanying Maurice on this excursion might have been involved.
