WE NEED YOUR HELP
We are having an issue with delivery men leaving parcels for the church or presbytery in the pantry. This is an error we are trying to rectify with the delivery company. Unfortunately to date these parcel have all been opened and taken, should You discover a parcel in the pantry -named, addressed and sealed, please take it round to the church. If you have taken such items please return them and remember you are on camera when accessing the pantry so we have you taking these items.

Please do help yourself to food if you are in need and leave food for those who need it if you are able to.

Meet the voices leading our closing day. ✻

On Sunday 13 September, the Congress gathers for its closing celebration at the Corn Exchange — and you’ll be in wonderful company.

✝️ Bishop Peter Collins, Bishop of East Anglia, will preside at the closing Principal Mass at 11.00am (concelebrating with Bishop Alan Hopes).

Then two guest preachers lead the afternoon: 📿 Fr Toby Lees OP — Keynote at 1.30pm. A Dominican friar and Priest Director of Radio Maria England. 🕊️ Fr Alex Pumphrey MIC — Keynote at 3.30pm. A Marian priest serving with the Divine Mercy Apostolate UK.

Between the talks: a Eucharistic procession through the town, Benediction and the Divine Mercy Chaplet.

Congratulations to all our young people who were confirmed yesterday!

It was a wonderful celebration of faith, and we thank God for each of them as they receive the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

A special thank you to Bishop Peter for joining us and celebrating this important occasion with our parish.
