Tomorrow is the start of our Kesgrave Scarecrow Trail!!! 🎉🌻
Thank you so much to everyone who has taken part — whether by making a scarecrow, growing sunflowers for our Sunflower Competition, making kind donations towards the raffle, tombola and book raffle, or volunteering to help on the day of the Scarecrow Café on 12th September.
A huge thank you to you all! We simply couldn’t have done it without your help! ❤️
Just a little reminder that we have two weeks to enjoy the trail, from 29th August to 12th September, and we really hope everyone will enjoy walking around Kesgrave and seeing all the wonderful scarecrows along the trail.
Here is the link to the Kesgrave Scarecrow Trail map, which has 20 entries so far. We are hoping we might have a few more last-minute entries too! The same link will show any updates, so if you are going to print the map, it would be helpful to make sure you print the latest version:

🌻 Scarecrow Café – Saturday 12th September
On Saturday 12th September, at All Saints Kesgrave, from 10am–2pm, we will have our Scarecrow Café, and everyone is welcome!
There will be lots of yummy cakes, children’s activities, a teddy zip wire (we are asking children to bring their brave teddies along to have a go! 🧸), a pet blessing, tombola and some lovely stalls.
Our Scarecrow Trail and Sunflower Competition winners will also be announced.
We would absolutely love to see you there!
Many thanks again to everyone who has taken part in this community event. It makes such a huge difference when we have so many lovely people coming together to bring smiles to Kesgrave. ❤️
As a church, we are so grateful for all your support. We remember how cold last winter was without our heating system, and we know how important fundraising events like this are in helping us raise the money needed to replace it.
So many of you have already supported us towards this cause, and we are extremely grateful. However, replacing the heating system is a very large-scale project, and we still need to raise a considerable amount.
We therefore hope that the Kesgrave Scarecrow Festival and Scarecrow Café on 12th September will be a huge success — both as a brilliant event for our community and as an important fundraiser to help our church with this project.
So please do come along, bring your family and friends, enjoy the trail, have some cake, join in the activities and help us make it a really special day!
