Come along to socialise, enjoy a quiz, and listen to live music from a local band — all while raising money for two fantastic community-based charities!

Today we said goodbye to a very special Pastoral Elder — a Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, and dear friend. Freda truly was one in a million, touching so many lives with her wisdom and kindness.

You will be greatly missed, but we take comfort in knowing you’re in heaven, catching up with Bernard and hugging Zoe.

Freda died peacefully at home on Monday evening.
Please keep her family in your prayers as they mourn her loss, especially as their grief feels so very raw following Zoe’s passing.
A prayer for Freda's family:
Loving God,
We give You thanks for the life of Freda Smith, a faithful servant who lived among us for 107 years.
Thank You for her witness, her love, and her example of faith in Jesus Christ.
We pray for Malcolm, Michelle, Anna, and the whole family as they grieve her loss.
May they know Your comfort, peace, and strength in the days ahead.
We rejoice that Freda is now at rest with her Lord and Saviour,
and we entrust her into Your eternal care.
Through Jesus Christ our risen Lord, Amen.
