SERMON OF THE WEEK
PLEASING GOD ✨- Part 2

"And He who sent Me is with Me. The Father has not left Me alone, for I always do those things that please Him."
β€” John 8:29

One of the greatest lessons from the life of Jesus is that He lived to please the Father. He never walked alone because He continually chose the Father's will above His own.

Today, God has not sent us alone either. He has a purpose, a calling, and a divine plan for every believer. When we surrender our desires and seek His will, His presence guides every step we take.

πŸ“– "Not My will, but Yours be done." β€” Luke 22:42

To please God is more than attending church or knowing Scripture. It is walking daily in obedience, humility, faith, and love. As we abide in His Word, our identity is transformed, our faith grows stronger, and we become fruitful in His Kingdom.

🌿 When our ways please the Lord:
βœ”οΈ He grants His favor
βœ”οΈ He beautifies the humble with salvation
βœ”οΈ He gives peace even in difficult circumstances
βœ”οΈ He establishes His promises over our lives

God calls us to shine as lights in this world, reflecting His goodness, righteousness, and truth. Let us continually examine our hearts and remove anything that displeases Himβ€”pride, murmuring, immorality, idolatry, and disobedience.

πŸ™ Today, make this your prayer:
"Lord, give me a humble heart. Help me to walk in Your will, please You in all that I do, and shine as Your light in this world. Amen."

✨ Live to please Him.
✨ Walk in His Word.
✨ Follow His Spirit.
✨ Shine for His Glory.

Another blessed Sunday in God's presence! πŸ™Œ

As we gathered in worship, prayer, and Holy Communion, our hearts were reminded of Christ's immeasurable love and sacrifice. Together, we celebrated His grace, strengthened our faith, and experienced the joy of fellowship as one family in Christ.

"Let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings." β€” Hebrews 10:22

May the Word we received continue to transform our lives throughout the week, and may His peace and presence go with us wherever we are.

❀️ Thank you to everyone who joined us today. We look forward to seeing you again next Sunday!

HOLY COMMUNION SUNDAY πŸ™

"For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come."
β€” 1 Corinthians 11:26

Join us this Sunday as we gather around the Lord's Table to remember the greatest sacrifice ever madeβ€”the sacrifice of Jesus Christ for our redemption.

Holy Communion is more than a tradition; it is a sacred moment of reflection, gratitude, repentance, and renewal. As we partake of the bread and the cup, we remember His broken body and His precious blood that was shed for the forgiveness of our sins. Through His sacrifice, we have received grace, mercy, healing, and eternal hope.

Come with a heart prepared to worship, pray, and experience the presence of God. Whether you are seeking spiritual renewal, strength for the journey, or a deeper relationship with Christ, this communion service is an opportunity to draw near to Him and be refreshed by His love.

✨ DAY 11 β€” REVEALING JESUS
πŸ‘ Jesus, the Lamb of God

From Genesis to Revelation, the story of redemption points to one central truth:
God Himself provided the Lamb.

When sin entered the world, humanity became separated from God. The holiness of God demanded justice, yet the love of God desired reconciliation.

Throughout the Old Testament, lambs were offered as sacrifices for sin.

At Passover, the blood of a spotless lamb protected Israel from judgment.

πŸ“– Exodus 12:13
β€œWhen I see the blood, I will pass over you.”

Every sacrifice pointed forward to a greater sacrifice that was yet to come.

When John the Baptist saw Jesus approaching, he made a declaration that changed history:

πŸ“– John 1:29
β€œBehold! The Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!”

Jesus was not merely another sacrifice.

He was the perfect Lamb.
πŸ‘ Without blemish.
πŸ‘ Without sin.
πŸ‘ Without fault.

Unlike the sacrifices of the Old Covenant, which had to be repeated again and again, Christ offered Himself once and for all.

πŸ“– Hebrews 9:28
β€œChrist was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many.”

On Mount Moriah, Abraham told Isaac:

πŸ“– Genesis 22:8
β€œGod Himself will provide the lamb.”

Centuries later, God fulfilled that promise.
The Lamb was not found in a thicket.
The Lamb was hanging on a cross.
Jesus willingly took our place.

He bore our sin.

He carried our shame.

He suffered our punishment.

He paid our debt.

The cross was not an accidentβ€”it was God's plan of redemption from the foundation of the world.

Through the blood of Jesus:
✨ Sins are forgiven.
✨ Hearts are cleansed.
✨ Lives are restored.
✨ We are reconciled to God.

The Lamb who was slain is also the risen King who reigns forever.

πŸ“– Revelation 5:12
β€œWorthy is the Lamb who was slain.”

As we continue toward REVEALING JESUS, let us never forget the price of our salvation.

The cross reveals the holiness of God.
The cross reveals the justice of God.
And above all, the cross reveals the love of God.

πŸ”₯ The sacrifice that saved us was not silver or goldβ€”it was the precious blood of Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God.

✨ DAY 10 β€” REVEALING JESUS
🌿 Jesus the True Vine

In a world that constantly pulls us in different directions, Jesus reveals the secret of a fruitful and victorious life:

πŸ“– John 15:1
β€œI am the true vine, and my Father is the vinedresser.”

A branch has no life in itself.
It cannot produce fruit by its own strength.
It cannot survive when disconnected from the vine.
Its life, nourishment, and fruitfulness all flow from its connection to the source.

Jesus used this powerful picture to teach an eternal truth:
Apart from Him, we can do nothing.

πŸ“– John 15:5
β€œI am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.”

Many people desire the fruit of God's blessings without maintaining fellowship with God Himself.

We desire:
πŸ‡ Peace without prayer.
πŸ‡ Strength without dependence.
πŸ‡ Fruitfulness without abiding.
πŸ‡ Victory without surrender.

But spiritual growth is not produced by human effort aloneβ€”it comes from remaining connected to Christ.

When we abide in Jesus:
🌿 His Word renews our minds.
🌿 His presence strengthens our hearts.
🌿 His Spirit produces godly fruit in our lives.
🌿 His wisdom guides our decisions.

The fruit of a healthy branch is evidence of its connection to the vine.

Likewise, when we remain in Christ, our lives begin to reflect His character:
πŸ‡ Love instead of hatred.
πŸ‡ Joy instead of despair.
πŸ‡ Peace instead of anxiety.
πŸ‡ Patience instead of frustration.
πŸ‡ Kindness instead of bitterness.

Sometimes the Father also prunes the branches.
Pruning may feel uncomfortable, but it is not punishmentβ€”it is preparation for greater fruitfulness.

The Gardener removes what hinders growth so that more of Christ may be seen in us.
As believers, our calling is not merely to know about Jesus but to remain in Him daily.

Through prayer.
Through His Word.
Through obedience.
Through fellowship with the Holy Spirit.

πŸ”₯ As we continue toward REVEALING JESUS, may we stay deeply rooted in Christ, drawing our strength from Him and bearing fruit that glorifies God.

Because the closer we stay to the Vine, the more the life of Jesus is revealed through us.

✨ DAY 9 β€” REVEALING JESUS
πŸ•ŠοΈ Jesus the Prince of Peace

We live in a world filled with noise, uncertainty, conflict, and fear.
Nations struggle.
Families face challenges.
Hearts carry burdens.
Minds wrestle with anxiety.

Yet in the midst of a troubled world, God sent His Son with a divine promise:

πŸ“– Isaiah 9:6
β€œAnd He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”

Jesus did not come merely to bring peace between people.

He came to restore peace between God and humanity.

The Prince of Peace wore a crown of thorns so that we could receive a crown of life.

The One who calmed the storm on the Sea of Galilee still calms the storms within our hearts.

πŸ“– Mark 4:39
β€œPeace! Be still!”

Immediately the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.
What is remarkable is that Jesus did not first change the disciples' circumstancesβ€”He spoke peace into the chaos.
The same is true today.

Peace is not the absence of problems.

Peace is the presence of Christ in the middle of them.

When Jesus is in the boat, storms may arise, but they cannot destroy us.

When Jesus reigns in the heart:
πŸ•ŠοΈ Fear gives way to faith.
πŸ•ŠοΈ Anxiety gives way to trust.
πŸ•ŠοΈ Confusion gives way to wisdom.
πŸ•ŠοΈ Restlessness gives way to assurance.

The peace that Jesus offers is different from anything the world can provide.

πŸ“– John 14:27
β€œPeace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives.”

His peace is not temporary.
His peace is not dependent on circumstances.
His peace flows from His presence.

Perhaps today you are facing uncertainty, disappointment, or a battle that no one else sees.

Remember: the Prince of Peace is near.

He still speaks to troubled hearts.

He still calms anxious minds.

He still brings peace in the middle of chaos.

πŸ”₯ As we continue toward REVEALING JESUS, may we encounter the One who not only rules as King but comforts as the Prince of Peace.

✨ DAY 8 β€” REVEALING JESUS
πŸŒ… Jesus the Resurrection and the Life

There are moments in life when everything seems lost.

Dreams die.

Relationships break.

Hope fades.

Prayers appear unanswered.

And like Martha standing before the tomb of Lazarus, we wonder if it is too late.
But Jesus specializes in situations that seem impossible.

Standing before a tomb that had been sealed for four days, Jesus made one of the most powerful declarations in all of Scripture:

πŸ“– John 11:25
β€œI am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live.”
Notice that Jesus did not say, "I can perform a resurrection."

He said, "I AM the Resurrection."

Resurrection is not merely an event.
It is a Person.

Where Jesus is present, death does not have the final word.

When Lazarus was buried, people saw an ending.
Jesus saw an opportunity to reveal God's glory.
When the stone was rolled away and Lazarus came forth, Christ demonstrated His authority over death, decay, and despair.

The empty tomb of Lazarus pointed to an even greater victoryβ€”the empty tomb of Jesus Himself.
The cross could not stop Him.
The grave could not hold Him.
Death could not defeat Him.

πŸ”₯ Because Jesus lives, we have hope.
πŸ”₯ Because Jesus lives, our sins are forgiven.
πŸ”₯ Because Jesus lives, eternal life is available to all who believe.

Perhaps there are areas in your life that feel buried today.
A dead dream.
A broken relationship.
A lost opportunity.
A weary spirit.

Remember this truth:
Dead things can live again when Jesus speaks.
The same power that raised Christ from the dead is still at work today, bringing life where there was death and hope where there was despair.

πŸ“– Romans 8:11
β€œThe Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you.”

As we continue toward REVEALING JESUS, may we encounter not only the Savior of the world but the One who conquers death itself.
He is still calling people out of their tombs.
He is still bringing life to impossible situations.
He is still the Resurrection and the Life.

✨ DAY 7 β€” REVEALING JESUS
🍞 Jesus the Bread of Life

Every human heart carries a hunger.
Some seek satisfaction in success.

Others search for it in wealth, relationships, achievements, or possessions.

Yet no matter how much the world offers, the soul continues to long for something more.

This hunger is spiritual.

It is a hunger that only Jesus can satisfy.
πŸ“– John 6:35

β€œI am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me shall never hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst.”

When God led Israel through the wilderness, He provided manna from heaven to sustain them day by day.

πŸ“– Exodus 16:15
β€œIt is the bread the Lord has given you to eat.”

That manna was more than foodβ€”it was a picture of Christ who would one day come from heaven.

Just as manna sustained Israel physically, Jesus sustains us spiritually.

The manna in the wilderness lasted only for a day.
The Bread of Life gives eternal life.
The manna could satisfy the body.
Jesus satisfies the soul.

The manna ceased when Israel entered the Promised Land.

Jesus remains forever.
Many people know about Jesus, but true satisfaction comes when we receive Him daily into our lives.

We cannot live on yesterday's prayer.
We cannot survive on someone else's faith.
We need fresh fellowship with Christ every day.

🍞 Feed on His Word.

πŸ™ Abide in His presence.

❀️ Trust in His promises.

The world offers temporary satisfaction, but Jesus offers eternal fulfillment.
When Christ becomes the center of our lives, emptiness gives way to purpose, fear gives way to peace, and longing gives way to joy.

πŸ”₯ As we continue toward REVEALING JESUS, may we discover that our deepest need is not a thing, but a personβ€”Jesus Christ, the Bread of Life.
