We dare to believe that Jesus is still Prince of Peace.

There is violent conflict across the globe, and the escalation of war in the Middle East adds fresh urgency to our prayers.

From 16-22 March we are committing to a week of prayer for peace. As we gather to stand in the gap for the nations, we’re asking you to join us – whether for a moment, an hour, or a watch in the night – as we seek God’s peace and mercy for the world.

Another date for your diary - come and join in the song of prayer over our town!

Ukrainian Vigil - 22nd February 2026

On Sunday 22nd February we will be welcoming members of the Ukrainian community to choral evensong as part of the annual vigil to mark the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Prior to the service there will be a gathering on the Cornhill, beginning at 3pm, which everyone is invited to attend.

We will then make our way to the Minster together, where Evensong will start at our usual time of 3:30pm and will include music, readings and prayers in both English and Ukrainian.

Please do join us in standing alongside our Ukrainian brothers and sisters as we continue to pray for justice, peace, wisdom, and healing.

What a joy to declare God’s Kingship over Ipswich on Saturday evening’s Crown Him! The church united in prayer and praise.
Thanks to St Francis’ Church for hosting, and for all who contributed - especially the eight young people who told us of their new CUs in their schools.
God is moving in these days, so keep being a blessing and keep on praying, carrying His presence wherever you go.

Y O U T H M A T T E R S

On Friday the 13th March at 11am, we have Jack Abbott MP joining us at River Church, Ipswich to spend time with us to discuss The Government Department for Culture, Media & Sport's recently published National Youth Work Strategy for England, answer questions, and see how we, in the faith-sector, might be able to support and implement this within our contexts.

It would be great if we could have a good representation from local churches and Christian organisations as we do this, so we'd love to invite you to come along and join us.

Friday 13th March, 11 am, River Church, Ipswich.
