We had a problem with echo on our live stream last week. The good news is that we got rid of the echo but the bad news is that, in the process, we seem to have almost completely removed all of the audio for our microphones.
We're going to work on it this week to get all of our audio back. and we're sorry that this will have affected your enjoyment of our worship online today.

If you watched our live stream today (9th August) you may have noticed that there was an echo whenever anyone spoke. That may have sounded as if we'd moved into a large cathedral but we hadn't - it was simply our sound system deciding to do its own thing. We're going to investigate it and persuade it to behave by next week.
We hope that didn't spoil the meeting too much for you and we thought you might like to see what we imagine it could look like if we moved into a cathedral (unfortunately we haven’t got one in Ipswich we could use).

Our Songsters were at Chelmondiston Methodist Church on Sunday evening. As well as the Songsters singing:
- Juliet interviewed Mel so that we learnt more about her
- Andy played a tenor horn solo (accompanied by Lou)
-Sue (ably assisted by Margaret) used an eye and a foot to explain how we are all important
Our timbrels played to 'Count Your Blessings'
(unfortunately, there are no photos of the Songsters singing. Our photographer sings with them and hasn't yet learnt to be in two places at the same time!)

This Saturday is our monthly breakfast baps. There is NO LITTLE BREAKFAST this month as our volunteers are taking a well earned summer break, but the bacon and sausage baps carry on as normal. Little breakfast will be back in September.

This Sunday was our annual celebration of the young people in our Corps. As well as them receiving prizes, taking part in the meeting and joining everyone else for a barbecue, the day was made even more special by the enrolment of five new Junior Soldiers.

We meet for worship every Sunday at 10.30 at our hall (558 Woodbridge Road, Ipswich IP4 4PH. There is a big car park behind the hall). We haven't got air conditioning for this hot weather but we have got large fans to blow a cooling breeze.
We'd love to see you at our hall but, if you live too far away, or don't want to travel in the hot weather, you can join us live online on YouTube. If you're busy at that time, you can watch our worship at any time afterwards.
Our YouTube channel can be found at

Easter Sunday s a day of great joy, worship, and new beginnings for Christians. It commemorates the time that Jesus, following his death on the cross, rose from the dead.
By doing so, he showed that he really was the Son of God and that death is not the end of everything - two things that are fundamental to Christian belief.

Join us for worship this Easter Sunday, either at our hall at 10:30 or on YouTube at https://www.youtube.com//streams. If you can't join us on YouTube at 10:30 you can watch at any time later
