Intimations for Sunday 6 September 2026
1. The Flower Calendar for 2026 is in the vestibule, if you would like to donate flowers, please add your details. If you know anyone who has been ill, bereaved or needs a ‘pick-me-up’ please tell Linsey in the Office or Moira Keith so flowers can be delivered after the service.
2. The next ‘Cuppa and Chat’ will be on Friday 18 September from 10am to 12noon. All welcome.
3. The Bible Study Group will meet on Thursday at 7:30pm, in the Chapel of St. Apollinaris, to continue studying Genesis. All Welcome.
4. There will be a Quiz Night and Raffle in St. Andrew’s Church Hall on Friday 18 September at 7pm (doors open 6:30pm). Bring your own drinks and glasses, nibbles provided. Tickets £5 pp (maximum of 4 per team) from the Church Office, Yvonne Clark or Rosie Milne.
5. Our Presbytery has organised an online course about modern slavery, ‘True Freedom’, at 7pm on Wednesday evenings, beginning on 16 September and ending on 21 October. This will be complemented with a conference, run by a Survivors of Human Trafficking in Scotland (SOHTIS), which will take place at Fountainhall Church at the Cross, Aberdeen, and online, from 10am to 12noon on Saturday 24 October. 6. There will be an Inverurie and District Churches Together Harvest Supper in Kintore Church Hall on Sunday 27 September, 4-6pm.Tickets are available from ministers, IDCT members and the Acorn Centre. Adults £10, Under 12s £5. Proceeds will be donated to the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution.
7. Next Sunday the readings will be Exodus 14:19-31 and Matthew 18:21-35.
