The Kirk Sessions of Fyvie and Rothienorman have agreed to extend the period of shared services until the end of October this year. Therefore we will continue with alternate Sundays as we have been doing over the summer. This will be reviewed mid October and all feedback is welcome. This arrangement is in place to alleviate some of the pressures as we are a vacant charge not permitted to call.
We are part of a new wider grouping of churches which still has 3 ministers who have secure tenure. The allocation for this grouping will ultimately be only 2 FTE posts. This is the reason why there is no move towards calling for a minister in Fyvie and Rothienorman.
