We are so sad to share that our brother and friend Andrew has been called home. But we do not grieve as those without hope. We will see him again, and he is safe in the everlasting arms of God.

Peacefully, at home, on Sunday 3rd May 2026 surrounded by his family, Andrew Beatty Crawford went to be with the Lord. Aged 74 years, of Meadowfield Avenue and previously many years at Firthview Drive, Scorguie. Retired paralegal. Devoted husband of Marjorie, much loved father of John, David and Mhairi, father-in-law to Judith, Shannon and Thomas and adored Grandad of Findlay, Joseph, Benjamin, Rory, Martha, Florence, Joshua, Struan and Daniel. Funeral service on Friday 15th May, 2026 at 12.00 Noon at Inverness Baptist Church, Castle Street; thereafter to Tomnahurich Cemetery. All friends respectfully invited. Donations are welcome at the service in support of Compassion and the Elsie Normington Foundation or can be made via William T Fraser and Son, Culduthel Road, Inverness.

Come and join us for our Easter Celebrations tomorrow. We begin at 10.10, singing songs of praise and worship beside Inverness Castle, followed by breakfast together in the church, and then our all-age Easter Celebration service at 11am. 'Jesus is Risen!' Bringing new life and new hope to all.

If you still are on the fence about about going to church this weekend for Easter, let us encourage you to come along.

A perfect church doesn’t exist. A perfect pastor doesn’t exist. A perfect congregation doesn’t exist. So don’t worry about trying to find one.

Just come. Show up as you are-- no matter the junk you may have in your life.

If you've never been inside a church, no one will mind. You will be welcomed with open arms.

You don't have to have a special outfit. You don't need to have it all together. You don't have to have all the answers. Just come.

You are never too far gone for Jesus. Every church is full of humans who are flawed but faithful, broken but believing, imperfect but inspired. People who may be hanging on by a thread but grace keeps them hanging in there.

So, if you are still thinking about it--- just come.

You will be welcomed.
By the people.
But most importantly, by Jesus.

Brilliant effort from the youngsters tonight, taking part in music, doing the readings, serving communion and performing a shadow theatre version of The Easter story. Very moving.
