We are continuing to meet each week 12-2PM at Hilton Church for our drop-in. It is so lovely to see new people join us!

One of our newer members wrote this lovely poem yesterday! We are sharing it with her permission 😀

"One little step is all it took
Come through the door for a little look
Together friendships develop and thrive
One little step soon became five
Better to talk then sit in fear
Everyone welcome at Listening Ear
Round the table people speak
Thursdays, the best day of the week"!!

Listening Ear is having a summer break and our drop-in will next meet on the Thursday the 27th of August 12PM at Hilton Parish Church, Inverness.

On Thursday the 20th of August 12PM we will be gathering at Culduthel Christian Centre to celebrate the life of a lady who was very special to many at our drop-in. Do contact us if you would like to come along and want further details.

We are thinking of everyone at the start of this New Year.

The holidays can be difficult for many of us and the start of the New Year might feel overwhelming.

No matter what your circumstances are and how you are feeling today we want to assure you that there is HOPE, YOU matter and your life COUNTS!

We encourage you to take that first step to reach out to someone.

Our drop-in at Hilton church will be running again on the 15th of January 12-2PM - we can't wait to meet with everyone again.

Everyone is welcome to join us this Christmas at Culduthel Christian Centre as we celebrate the hope and peace of the season together.
This Sunday we have our Community Christmas Tea from 4:30pm in advance of our candlelight carol service. If you are coming to the tea, it would help if you could let us know in advance for catering purposes.

It’s definitely Autumn now and time for jackets! We have some reminders below-

There will be no Thursday drop in this week.

There will be a drop in from 12-2 pm at Culduthel Christian Centre next week on the 30th.

On the 6th, we’ll be back at Hilton Parish Church, Inverness for our usual 12-2 pm drop in.

No matter what is happening in your life right now you are loved, valued and important 🥰

We know that the start of a new term can be challenging if you are living with loss, coping with mental health difficulties or feeling just stuck.

You don't have to cope alone, come along to our small, friendly listening ear drop-in at Hilton church this Thursday 12-2PM or reach out to us to speak to someone on a 1:1.

When we do this we are often surprised that others might be feeling similar and that we are met with compassion and grace.

We look forward to seeing you on Thursday or seeing you at our 1:1 drop-in at CCC tomorrow 😀

We really enjoyed meeting with each other at our Listening Ear drop-in today 😀

It may seem like a small thing but taking a step to come along and be with others can be huge when you are coping with grief, depression, anxiety or other challenging thoughts and feelings.

BUT taking one small step after another can make a HUGE difference over time. We love to see new folk at our drop-in and everyone is always very welcome.

The Listening Ear team will be taking a break now until Thursday the 14th of August but would love to see you at our drop-in on the 14th or do reach out to us for confidential 1:1 support which is available at different times in the week.
