The holidays can be difficult for many of us and the start of the New Year might feel overwhelming.

No matter what your circumstances are and how you are feeling today we want to assure you that there is HOPE, YOU matter and your life COUNTS!

We encourage you to take that first step to reach out to someone.

Our drop-in at Hilton church will be running again on the 15th of January 12-2PM - we can't wait to meet with everyone again.

Everyone is welcome to join us this Christmas at Culduthel Christian Centre as we celebrate the hope and peace of the season together.
This Sunday we have our Community Christmas Tea from 4:30pm in advance of our candlelight carol service. If you are coming to the tea, it would help if you could let us know in advance for catering purposes.

It’s definitely Autumn now and time for jackets! We have some reminders below-

There will be no Thursday drop in this week.

There will be a drop in from 12-2 pm at Culduthel Christian Centre next week on the 30th.

On the 6th, we’ll be back at Hilton Parish Church, Inverness for our usual 12-2 pm drop in.

No matter what is happening in your life right now you are loved, valued and important 🥰

We know that the start of a new term can be challenging if you are living with loss, coping with mental health difficulties or feeling just stuck.

You don't have to cope alone, come along to our small, friendly listening ear drop-in at Hilton church this Thursday 12-2PM or reach out to us to speak to someone on a 1:1.

When we do this we are often surprised that others might be feeling similar and that we are met with compassion and grace.

We look forward to seeing you on Thursday or seeing you at our 1:1 drop-in at CCC tomorrow 😀

We really enjoyed meeting with each other at our Listening Ear drop-in today 😀

It may seem like a small thing but taking a step to come along and be with others can be huge when you are coping with grief, depression, anxiety or other challenging thoughts and feelings.

BUT taking one small step after another can make a HUGE difference over time. We love to see new folk at our drop-in and everyone is always very welcome.

The Listening Ear team will be taking a break now until Thursday the 14th of August but would love to see you at our drop-in on the 14th or do reach out to us for confidential 1:1 support which is available at different times in the week.

While we are on a break what small step can you take to look after yourself, connect with others or ask for support?

There is no Hilton drop in today at Hilton Parish Church, Inverness but anyone is welcome to pop along to the CCC cafe at Culduthel Christian Centre between 12 and 1pm where two of our team will be there to chat. See you there if you can make it!

There will be no drop in at Hilton this week on Thursday the 2nd January. But we may have some snow ❄️🌨️so keep warm, be positive ♥️and we’ll be open at 12-2pm on the 9th at Culduthel Christian Centre for one week before returning to our usual venue. We’ll leave you with this message which is fitting for the New Year-

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” Philippians 4:6

Listening Ear is happening today at Hilton Parish Church, Inverness. Christmas can be both joyful and challenging so come along and have a hot drink and a chat or have some one to one time with our trained listeners!
