We haven't posted here for a few weeks as we're wanting everyone to move to the Carse of Gowrie Kirk page before this one closes, but here's the notice and link about the service this week.

A very simple title for the service this week from Carse of Gowrie Kirk - Don't throw stones!
With so much mud-slinging, finger-pointing and blame-seeking, did Jesus have anything to say about our times? Well, he didn't speak much, but his actions were very powerful.
Share in worship in Inchture and Abernyte on Sunday at 9.30am and Invergowrie and Longforgan at 11am, or any time here online.
Don't throw stones!

It takes courage to keep course when you are being trolled or when cruel people are after you. Or even just when scare stories are told to put you off. A cou...

Back to the stones and rocks summer theme and back to online services too.
This week it's Peter recognising who Jesus really is and Jesus calling Peter a rock - what did he mean by that?
In Inchture and Abernyte on Sunday at 9.30am and Invergowrie and Longforgan at 11am and online here.

We've now been Carse of Gowrie Kirk for half a year and most people have switched over to that page. Everything that would have been on here is now there - and more besides. We'd invite you, if you are still following this page to change to Carse of Gowrie Kirk. All the services and so on are the same as they were, with the regular service in Invergowrie on Sundays at 11am.
Thank you.

Family services in all our locations this week and it's all about stones. If you can, bring one with you (not one that's precious to you) but there's no necessity. Hands on to enjoy whatever your age - and there will be baking from today's barbecue in each place as there's still plenty of that.

Abernyte and Inchture on Sunday at 9.30am, Invergowrie and Longforgan at 11am. Online here any time (but sadly no cake online!)

Where's your focus? How easy do you find it to focus on the things you want to? Questions we're exploring in this week's service from Carse of Gowrie Kirk. We're in Inchture and Abernyte on Sunday at 9.30am and Longforgan and Invergowrie at 11am, or join here online.

Despite many distractions we can find reassurance and focus in Christ: as a people you and I are made to long for depth: depth of thought, of relationship, d...

Sunday is the festival of Pentecost, the birthday of the Church, when Jesus' followers were filled with the Holy Spirit. Peter jumped up and started talking about dreams and visions and that's what we're thinking of in worship this week. Online here or in Abernyte and Inchture on Sunday at 9.30am and Longforgan and Invergowrie at 11am. Come and celebrate and dream with us!

Extravagant love is an important theme for the church this year and we're picking that up in Carse Kirk this week. Our regular services on Sunday are in Inchture and Abernyte at 9.30am and in Invergowrie and Longforgan at 11am. And there's also the evening service in Abernyte at 6.30pm for those who prefer a more reflective and informal style of worship.
Or join online here any time.

How broad and long, how high and deep is it? Christ's love is extravagant. And Christ is present in everyday life with people, it’s just that most people don...

A special service in Abernyte on Sunday at 9.30am as we ordain our first new elder to Carse of Gowrie Kirk. There are the regular services in Inchture at 9.30am and Invergowrie and Longforgan at 11am as well, as we all think of how God can make the ordinary extraordinary and we can do extraordinary things with God.
Online here too.

God, and especially God’s love, is generous, bountiful, endless, all-surrounding everywhere and eternal, giving peace and assurance. God loves you and cares ...

There are different services in different places this Sunday, all at the usual times of 9.30am in Abernyte and Inchture and 11am in Longforgan and Invergowrie. In Inchture we're celebrating communion.
There's no new online service this week but there are plenty of previous one there to remember what we once all looked like! It will be back to usual with that next Sunday.

It's time for our joint service again and this Sunday it's in Invergowrie at 10am and the focus is Christian Aid and 80 years of hope. There's a soup lunch afterwards as well, so come hungry!
A joint choir and band rehearse from 9am and anyone is welcome to join in with that. The service is online here too. https://youtu.be/BRXJWvFcOj0

Messy Church was loads of fun today as we looked at the Easter story and tomorrow we continue that theme thinking of an encounter with a stranger on the road to Emmaus.
In Abernyte and Inchture on Sunday at 9.30am and Invergowrie and Longforgan at 11am. Or online here too.

And a heads up that next Sunday is another joint service - this time in Invergowrie at 10am and there's lunch after that too. But that's not till next Sunday!
