We will be putting the Poppy cascade up on St Peter’s Church tower this Saturday, 18th October at 9am. Then the other churches will have their displays erected during the morning. They will stay until November 22nd and to celebrate them coming down there is a concert by the Bluebird Belles in St Peter’s Church . Please come and support us.

Poppy project session today- we are now sewing on poppies for the smaller cascades. 1-4pm in the PEC. Come along for a cuppa, chat and do as much or as little you want !

Knit and natter this week- Wednesday 1pm in the PEC.
We are desperate for some more poppies as we have now measured up the other churches and they are going to take more poppies than we realised. So while you are all sitting in the shade trying to keep cool, please see what you can do!

These are the dates for our next few sessions. If you can’t knit or crochet but want to come along we have sewing on you can do. We are concentrating on just the red and black poppies now (8cm upwards) for the cascades for the other churches in the Benefice. If you can’t make the sessions please do make them at home and drop them into the box on the back pew in St Peter’s church.
