What a lovely afternoon we had in the gardens with our friends from Hazelwell Lodge

Some residents from Vaughan Lee House came to a garden party held in the Manor House gardens yesterday. Lots of tea, cakes, cream scones and chat and then a spot of throwing bean bags at the tumblers .... with varying degrees of skill! And a sing song rounded off the afternoon.

A big thank you to Carly Press Print & Design and DesignBean for bringing our new Monks Yard signage to life — we’re absolutely delighted with how it’s turned out.

And a special thank you to Grahame and Luke, who worked incredibly hard getting everything fitted today in some serious Somerset heat! ☀️🥵

Great job, gentlemen — very much appreciated. 👏

Hopefully the new signs will make us a little harder to miss! 👀☕️ Although we’ve been here since 2007 so.. 😀

We had a great time this afternoon at the Monks Yard Connect groups 'Sports Day and Summer party'... Mitch, Ilminster's new Mayor and her consort, John, came along to join us for a cream tea and a few games - including the egg and spoon race! Good action shots here! It's so good to have a new Mayor who is so connected with the community here and wants to be involved with all the things we do.
