8am Holy Communion
10.15am Sunday Worship, livestreamed on youtube.com/allsaintsilkley
Please see www.allsaintsilkley.org/services for our service pattern. The first church would have been built of stone taken from the abandoned Roman fort of Olicana which stood on this spot. The present building is partly medieval, but it was largely rebuilt in Victorian times, and there have ben 20th ce
ntury additions and alterations. Each generation has adapted the building to suit its needs, but the Gospel message has remained unchanged throughout the centuries.
'Jesus Christ is the same, yesterday, today and forever'
Far from being a museum, the church building today is the centre of worship for many local Christian people of all ages. Our church is open most days if you would like to visit to spend time in prayer and reflection, or explore the heritage and history of our church - please see the opening times section above. We sometimes hold occasional events, such as weddings or funerals, which may prevent access so please contact [email protected] if you are making a special journey. We hope you will enjoy your visit, and we ask you to pray for us, as we pray for you.
