“It is finished”

Jesus’ last words before He gave up His spirit. In a moment that looked like the greatest defeat of all, Jesus was still graceful because He knew that the promises of God from the scripture had been fulfilled and His mission of bringing us closer to God had been completed.

So today let us remember the greatest sacrifice of all, that He gave up His life so we could be set free and be free forever ❤️

“Not my will, but yours”

How hard can it be to say that, in the good and the and situations, the ups and downs or when it feels like nothing is working out?

It can be pretty hard. But through the story of Jesus and the Bible, we are reminded to put our trust in Him at all times. God’s plans are always good and are better than any plans we can make for ourselves!

So whatever that situation is that you may be facing, where it may feel like things arent working out, choose to trust in Him and watch Him come through for you ❤️

During the Last supper Jesus broke bread with his disciples, this was to prepare them for what was to come when He would give His life on the cross so we could all be saved.

Today as Christians we continue to break bread together, not just as during easter but throughout the year, we dont this not randomly but as a way to remember the ultimate sacrifice that Jesus made for us all ❤️

Jesus, the most perfect man who deserved nothing but love and acceptance was betrayed and sold out by one of His friends into the hands of those who would kill Him.

Sometimes we may think that Jesus wouldn’t understand our emotions as humans but the truth is He does, He has felt those emotions that you may feel, from the good to the bad, the highs and the lows!

Because of that, you can talk to him about absolutely anything and have the full confidence that He understands you.

During this holy week, take some time to pause and reflect on the betrayal of Jesus and be thankful that you are never alone in how you are feel.đź’™
