We had a lot of fun today making some mosaic bricks for the renewed Oaklands bandstand. Aren’t they beautiful? And such a creative way of telling the story of our vibrant community here. We can’t wait to see all the bricks together when they finish assembling it next Wednesday!

Tomorrow morning we'll be looking at the story of Hagar and the name she gave to God - El Roi "The God who sees me". We'll be using this song as a part of our worship as we consider the names we would give God.

📣 Sunday Worship Announcement 📣

Feel a bit like this picture at the moment? Us too! As the heatwave continues to roll on, we’re advising people to dress comfortably for worship on Sunday morning. There is no expectation that people wear formal uniform. We’ll do all we can to cool the hall, but we are aware it still will be warm and want to keep people as safe as possible in the heat. We remind people that you can join us on Zoom if you think that might be the safer option for you. We can post the link to Zoom before Sunday in the comments below.

We had a great time at Nurture Circle today, as we welcomed TWO guests - Andy Maguire Art and Shelley from The Salvation Army South East Division

“Andy the Artist” led us in some free painting, inspired colourful pictures he’d brought along. We loved his passion, his interest, and his stories! Shelley then led us in a BabySong music session with singing, actions, and instruments. It was so much fun!

Thank you both for sharing your gifts and your skills with us. We are so very grateful ❤️
