Alhamdulillah Muhammadiyah House of Wisdom had our annual Rabi ul-Awwal Milad programme commemorating and celebrating the birth of the Best of Creation ﷺ.
It commenced with the Blessed Words of Allah recited by brother Anwar. The powerful recitation reverberated in the hearts of all present.
Br Hasan then gave a beautiful rendition of the blessed Qasidah Burdah and sang nasheeds in the Praise and Love of the Prophet ﷺ.
The first talk of the night was given by Imam Qais in English and why the Prophet ﷺ is the most deserving of our love and how we can increase in this love and the importance of doing so. By the end everyone was yearning for the Closeness of the Prophet ﷺ and Imam Qais gave some practical and simple gems one can follow to achieve this little by little.
After Maghrib Salah local brother Abul Kalam sang a beautiful Bangla nasheed proceeded by the 2nd talk of the night by Ustadh Ghulam Ali in Bangla. The inspiration words touched upon the Beauty and Character of the Prophet ﷺ which had the lovers of the Beloved of Allah ﷺ longing for just a glance of his Mubarak face.
To close the night we performed dhikr in praise of, and remembrance of Allah and sending durood and salam upon the Prophet ﷺ by brother Hasan and Ustadh Ghulam Ali.
May the Love of the Prophet ﷺ take root and blossom in the hearts of all those present be it physically or online and all those who helped in any way! Ameen.
