Local businesses, charities, and groups—we want you! Promote your organisation and support our community by decorating a tree for our festive weekend in Hurst.

✨ Why Join?

Free to enter: Just bring and decorate your tree (real, artificial, or creative craft!).

Great exposure: Display your tree and leave leaflets for local visitors.

Community spirit: Enjoy festive treats, church decorations, and a closing Carol Service.

Time: 11:00 AM (for approximately one hour)

Looking for a break from the scorching sun? Come and take advantage of our "ancient air conditioning!" Thanks to our thick, historic stone walls, the church is beautifully cool and offers a peaceful refuge from the midday glare.

Whether you need to cool down, rest your feet, or just enjoy a moment of quiet, our doors are wide open.

This Father’s Day, we want to celebrate and remember all the incredible father figures who have shaped our lives. Whether you are a dad, grandad, uncle, or mentor, thank you for everything you do.

Join us this Sunday at 11:00 AM as we come together in gratitude.

🏗️ Youth Club Update: Summer Pause! 🏗️
Big things are happening behind the scenes! Due to the exciting refurbishment of the Scout Hut, our June and July Youth Group sessions will not be going ahead.

We are pausing for the summer while the builders do their magic, but we can't wait to welcome you all back in the autumn to enjoy our brand-new space! 🙌✨

Tilly has just messaged us to ask if she can wear a hat to our Pet Blessing this afternoon.

Hat or no hat all pets are welcome. Whether they have fur, feathers, or scales—big or small—bring your beloved pets along to St Nicholas Church in Hurst for a special blessing. It’s a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the joy our animal companions bring into our lives.

We are thrilled to announce a very special Organ Recital at St Nicholas Church, hosted by the Friends of St Nicholas.
Join us for an evening of incredible music as we showcase our beautifully refurbished organ and raise vital funds for its ongoing care.

We are honoured to welcome four highly experienced organists from across our local area and from Merton College, Oxford each performing a unique set of pieces. We will also be joined by international Soprano, Astrid Marie Lazar.
