📢 Your Church Needs You!
St Peter's Church has served the village of Upwood for many years. Did you know...the first known worshipping community was established in the village in the 12th Century, and the church is even mentioned in the Domesday Survey of 1086 so the worshipping community of St Peter's goes back even further, though little of the original building remains! ⛪️
The church has always existed for the wider community, and not just its regular worshippers. We want to continue serving the village for many years to come, but to make that possible, we need a little bit of help! 🙏
If you love your village church, and have something to offer, we'd love to hear from you. We've suggested some ways you might like to get involved, some involve Sundays, but many don't.
