The Alpha Course is a series of group conversations that freely explore the basics of the Christian faith in an open, friendly environment. Everyone’s welcome. No matter your background or beliefs, you’re invited. Exploration of Faith: It provides a safe space to explore the basics of the Christian faith, regardless of your background or beliefs. Community and Connection: You'll meet new people an

d build meaningful relationships through shared meals and discussions. Open Discussions: Each session includes a talk on a different aspect of faith, followed by open discussions where you can ask questions and share your thoughts. Personal Growth: The course encourages personal reflection and growth, helping you to consider life's big questions and your own beliefs. No Pressure Environment: There's no pressure to continue if you decide it's not for you. You can participate as much or as little as you like. Overall, the Alpha Course is a great opportunity to explore faith in a relaxed, friendly, and open environment. If you have any more questions or need further details, feel free to ask!

Over the weekend, 6 of the Coordinators from the Huddersfield Community and Cathedral House Alpha Groups attended the “This Is Alpha Day” in Sheffield.

What a brilliant day hosted by Alpha UK with keynotes and seminars focussed on inspiring and imparting wisdom for running effective Alpha Groups.

Not only was it great to be able to represent Huddersfield Christian Fellowship at this event but we were sat alongside many other volunteers who also run Alpha Courses at their churches and locations across the North of England.

Thank you UK Alpha Course for looking after and training us. We are so excited to be exploring faith with Huddersfield through the Alpha Course ❤️
