As we start Volunteers Week, we want to say a HUGE thank you to all our volunteers. Your time, care, and hard work make a real difference to people in Huddersfield experiencing poverty, mental health challenges, homelessness, and addiction.
This year, with your support:
- 883 people received help during difficult times.
- Volunteers gave an amazing 1,840 hours of their time.
- We delivered 2,885 advice and support sessions.
- People on low incomes received £70,314.87 in food bank referrals, fuel vouchers, and emergency clothing.
- A further £7,209.41 of emergency food, clothing, and crisis support was provided through Huddersfield Mission’s own welfare resources.
- Our cafe served 2,392 free or low cost meals.
Whether you volunteer in the café, art group, advice drop-in, or as Trustee, you help make Huddersfield Mission a welcoming, safe, and supportive place for everyone who comes through our doors.
Thank you — we couldn't do it without you.
