Great news about our clock dial - the restoration work is complete and the clock restorer has advised a date of Thursday 16th July for it being refitted to the church tower. We look forward to it once again looking pristine and being part of the clock and dials put in the tower as memorial to the men of Lepton who made the ultimate sacrifice in two World Wars.

We are very grateful to The Lepton Village Preservation Society who have volunteered to help tidy up the flower and shrub bed running along the south side of the church. This is part of their wider preparations for Lepton's Yorkshire in Bloom entry.

Thanks to the generosity of the congragation and friends of St John’s the sum of £564.62 was raised from the Lent Appeal and this is to be shared between Kirkwood Hospice and Forget Me Not Childrens Hospice.
