50 guests in the room. And we still had a second dining room to spare.
That’s the bit people don’t think about until they’re planning a service. Big families need somewhere that can actually hold everyone. Not a squeeze. Not an overflow into the car park.

At Rose Hill, we’ve got two dining rooms, seats for up to 70 comfortably. Space for the family that is what it is, all of them.

Direct cremation is on the rise across the UK. No service, no gathering, no one together afterwards. Just a cremation, and that's it.

For some families, that's exactly what's wanted. But for many, something gets lost. The chance to actually sit with the people who showed up for you.

At Rose Hill, that chance still exists. A few feet from the burial ground, in our Manor House. Spacious Dining space, seats for up to 70, tea poured and time to be together.

Some days we just want to say thank you.

To the families who’ve trusted us with their hardest days. To the ones who’ve written to us afterwards, just to say the day went the way they hoped it would. It means more than you know.

Today, we’re just grateful. 💚

At Rose Hill Burial Ground, a carriage can arrive at the hearse entrance while cars come and go freely at the main entrance, nobody waiting on anybody.

No traffic, no waiting, no stress. Just a day that runs the way it should.

This is what we mean when we talk about a day that runs the way it should, nothing gets in the way of what matters.

By the time the buffet comes out, the morning has already asked a lot of everyone.
The service. The tears. Family who travelled hours, some still in yesterday’s clothes.
At Rose Hill Burial Ground, that’s when the room softens. Coffee, sandwiches, pies, tea, cakes, fruits, wine, familiar faces, and no rush to be anywhere else.

Sometimes the kindest thing isn’t the ceremony. It’s what happens after it.

If you’re reading this while missing someone today, we see you.

Grief doesn’t run on a schedule. Some days it’s quiet. Some days it catches you in the middle of something ordinary, like scrolling through Facebook. That’s okay.

Whoever you’re thinking of, however you’re carrying them, you’re not doing it alone. We’re here, even on the days there’s nothing to plan and nothing to ask. Just wanted you to know that.

Sending care to anyone who needs it today. 💚

The most common thing UK families do with ashes isn’t scatter them. It’s keep them at home. In an urn. On a shelf.

Not because it’s wrong, because nobody offered them anywhere better.

At Rose Hill, we hold a natural, peaceful dedicated place for ashes to rest, where they’ll be free to be visited all year, not just stored.

The funeral ends. And for a few seconds, no one knows where to go.
Some have travelled hours to be there. Nowhere to sit. Nowhere to just be together.

At Rose Hill, that moment has a place. Our Manor House dining hall seats up to 70, right on site. So after the burial, family simply walks inside.
No one has to travel again to grieve together.

82% of people say organising a funeral is one of the most stressful days of their life.

Not the grief, but the logistics.

Different venues, different journeys, no time to think.

At Rose Hill, it’s all one walk. Service. Burial. Reception.

One less thing to carry.
