The Communion service at St. John the Evangelist, Birkby, and Christ Church, Woodhouse, Huddersfield is at 09.15 and at Christ Church 10.45am.

The Welcome Centre. Food Bank and More have advised us of the following shortages:

🍚 Microwave rice
🥫 Meat meals
🥫 Vegetarian meals
🪥 Toothbrushes
🦷 Toothpaste
🧴 3-in-1 shampoo, conditioner and body wash
🌸 Sanitary products (unopened packets only)

These everyday essentials help them to provide not only food, but dignity, comfort, and practical support to people when they need it most.

Please continue to bring your donations to our church services and we will take them to the Welcome Centre.

⛪Organ recital at St Stephen’s
🗓Friday 3rd July 2026 🕧 12:30 pm

👂Alessandro Bianchi will be visiting us again this year for another exciting recital on our magnificent Conacher organ. It will be so wonderful to hear the organ put through its paces by an international touring virtuoso. Alessandro‘s programme is full of entertaining and colourful music. Please do come along to enjoy his playing and also to support the church.
Admission is free with all proceeds from a retiring collection donated to the mission and ministry of St Stephen’s Parish Church.
