🌟 MONDAY MENTION : EMMA! 🌟

This week we’re giving a big shout out to the lovely Emma! 💛

Emma is fabulously gifted with children and brings so much creativity to all she does. She supports Junior Church, has stepped in to help at Toddlers, and over the summer has even stepped up to lead in our services.

What we really appreciate about Emma is that she is always on hand to support, willing to get stuck in wherever she’s needed and use the gifts God has given her to bless others.

Emma, we’re so thankful for all you bring and so glad to have you as part of our church family! ❤️

❤️ What a way to finish Telling His Story!

This week Joanna, Emma and Sophie stepped out in faith and shared with us, while Esther and Lillian led us brilliantly through the whole service. 🙌

We heard stories and reflections from Psalm 23, the crucifixion and Job- reminding us that through the highs, the lows and everything in between, God is faithful.

One of the things I’ve loved most this summer has been seeing people step up, have a go and be bold and courageous in their faith. ❤️

God is building His church - not just in numbers, but in people growing, discovering their gifts and having the courage to use them.

So thankful for what God is doing amongst us… and excited for what comes next! 🙏

Be strong and courageous… for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.
Joshua 1:9

Join us this Saturday, 9:30am–12:30pm, as our Community Café raises money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

And we’re keeping it going throughout September! 💚
We’ll be donating half of all proceeds from our Monday Reclothe Café and Thursday Café too.

For everyone heading back through school doors this week - teachers, support staff, students and all those working behind the scenes (including parents 😉)-we’re praying for you. 🙏

For the excited and the nervous.
For those starting somewhere new and those returning to somewhere familiar.
For those ready to go… and those really not feeling ready at all! ❤️

May God give you peace in the pressure, courage for the challenges, patience for one another and moments of real joy.

🙏 Lord, go before everyone returning to school this week. Give them strength when they’re tired, wisdom when things are difficult and remind them that wherever they go, you are already there. Amen.

🌟 MONDAY MENTION - TONY! 🌟

This week we’re celebrating the brilliant Tony! 🙌

Tony is an incredible prayer warrior, faithfully lifting up our church, our community and others before God. 🙏

He’s also amazingly gifted at making, mending and creating - there’s not much Tony can’t turn his hand to! 🔨🛠️ But alongside those practical gifts is a phenomenal heart for evangelism and a real desire for others to know the love and hope of Jesus.

📖 Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.
Colossians 4:2

Thank you, Tony, for the prayers you pray, the things you create and repair, and above all, your passion for sharing Jesus. We’re so thankful for you! 💛

❤️We heard about the importance of having faith like a child, sharing faith like Philip and the Ethiopian Eu**ch , and being present for God through Mary and Martha!🙌🏽

This week as we journey through a summer season of ‘Telling His Story’, three more incredible people boldly and courageously stepped in faith and preached for the first time!

We heard from Luke 15, Daniel 6 and 1 Corinthians 13.
Each person brought a unique and powerful word to the church!

As we are reminded in the Bible: We cannot help speaking about what we have seen and heard.” Acts 4:20
