We are really looking forward to the final recital in this summer’s concert series. Steven Maxson brings a toe-tapping programme for everyone to enjoy. Thank you to everyone who has performed at and supported the concerts over these past months!

A reminder of our fabulous Organ Recital tomorrow evening, Fri 21st, at 7pm. Victoria Ulriksen is one of Europe's most promising organists who is building a reputation across the continent for her superb musicianship and virtuosic playing. The concert contains a mix of music to suit everyone, and there will be an interval during which wine and refreshments will be available.

If you haven't been to an organ concert before, this one comes very highly recommended.

Free admission with donations to the upkeep of the much-loved (and expensive to maintain!) Howden Minster organ.

Chris Totney joins us for our organ recital in Howden Minster this Monday. Having had a wide ranging and very rewarding musical career, he has recently moved to the Lake District where he is currently freelancing. An absolutely splendid programme is in store, so do come and enjoy it.

It's the turn of our Director of Music, Matthew Collins, to give the lunchtime organ recital at Howden Minster (East Yorkshire) this Monday, 27 July. We are in for an exciting programme, so do please join us. Free admission with excellent refreshments. Retiring donations gratefully received for the Minster organ fund.

Timothy Selman, the outgoing organ scholar of Lincoln Minster, is our organ recitalist at Howden Minster (East Yorkshire) this week. He has an excellent programme including his own transcription of Novak's glorious Slovak Suite.

Join us in the cool of Howden Minster, for a warm welcome, fabulous light summer afternoon music, played by the supremely talented Robert Poyser, the Director of Music at Beverley Minster.

His programme reflects his recent collaborations in the realm of 'light classical' and cinema organ repertoire, as well as some popular traditional organ works.

Following one of Robert's trademark improvisations, fabulous refreshments will be served!

Alessando Bianchi kicks off the first of our summer organ recitals on Monday at 1pm. He has a lovely programme for us to show of the colours of the fabulous Minster organ.

Free admission with cake and refreshments after the recital.

Any retiring donations you are able to give will go directly to the continued maintenance of the 1929 Rushworth and Dreaper organ, and to facilitate this and future concerts.

We are delighted that our 2026 Organ Recital Series will begin on Monday 29 June, 1pm.

International recitalist, Alessandro Bianchi, from Cantù, Italy will perform a selection of works including the 'Scherzo in G minor' by Bossi, Hielscher’s monumental 'Variations on Veni Creator Spiritus' and Duruflé’s 'Prélude et fugue sur le nom d’Alain'.

Alongside all the talented organists who will perform through the series, we are very excited that the amazing Victoria Ulriksen will perform a special evening recital on Friday 21 August before heading to perform in Westminster Abbey.

All concerts are free to attend, and any retiring donations go to the ongoing maintenance of the Minster organ.
