Great to hear all the good news at Bishop Luffa school. The new School chaplain Revd Stephen Mills has been making an impact. His preaching at the carol service was one of the highlights of the year. A new Youth Service he has started on Thursday evenings is attended by primary age students from across the local community and seems to grow in number every week. Also, students from the school are now leading weekly worship sessions at Rumboldswhyle primary school. We reported in late 2020 that Barbara Bush, Churchwarden at St John the Baptist, Hove, had received an OBE for services to the Pensions Industry, Diversity and Charity. Not surprisingly, no award ceremonies were held for most of 2021, given the pandemic situation. Ceremonies re-commenced recently, however, and Barbara received her award from Princess Anne at Windsor Castle on Dec 14th. She gave thanks to all of those who work across the Diocese and at St John's during these especially challenging times. 'We achieve little alone and are at our best when we work together'.

Also, an open-air Nativity called 'The Magi who missed Christmas' was written and produced by a member of St Peter's Ashburnham!
