ANNUAL MISSION APPEAL: thank you for your prayerful support and generosity to last week’s Mission Appeal on behalf of Xaverian Missions. Thanks also to Fr Kevin Ryan who will return to celebrate our Vigil Mass this weekend. I sense he feels at home here. Always welcome: Haste ye back!

LADIES LUNCH will take place next Sunday afternoon, 28th June in the River Inn. Tickets, which include Fizz and Canapes on arrival, two course carvery and entertainment are now on sale. Ticket/Donation to Restoration Fund – costs £45. Please support this event. Some tickets remain available. Please make an effort to support this event. MASSES IN JULY & AUGUST: the summer programme for Masses will be in place, throughout the holiday months of July and August. Beginning on Sunday 5th July until Sunday 26th August. The St Fillan’s Vigil Mass at 5.00pm on Saturday and our Sunday Mass at 9.30am will continue as normal. Our usual St Fillan’s Sunday 11.00am Mass will not take place here during these months. However, an 11.00am Sunday Mass will be celebrated, nearby, at St Conval’s, Linwood, PA3 3HB, each Sunday over July and August. Thanks to Fr Michael for helping us ensure cover over the summer months.

The Bulletin will not be published during July and August. Any requests for prayers, announcements, etc, at weekend Masses, should be placed in an envelope, clearly marked, Anniversary of …., etc, and deposited through the letterbox of Abbotsfield (St Fillan’s Parochial House) by 9.00am on the preceding Thursday, for inclusion in prayers/announcements at that weekend’s Masses.

If you are unable to bake, perhaps you could donate some locally purchased cakes for the Tea Ladies’ Stall - a Restoration Fund initiative. These can be left in church on Friday from 8.00am in plastic box by the side door.
