St. Michael's, Hetton Lyons We are the parish church for Hetton-le-Hole, Easington Lane, Eppleton and Moorsley. One Church family serving three villages. We welcome you to join us!

Here to worship God together, share fellowship, and show God's love within the community. We are simply following Jesus who came to change the world, working out together our own part in that change. We worship together, and mid-week we meet in small groups to eat, support, learn and pray, hoping to grow in understanding, love and number! Today is Pentecost Sunday, and what better way to celebrate the gift of the Holy Spirit than through baptism? Today, in our 10 a.m. service, Mary was baptised, and then at 11:30, it was Sebastian's turn. Sebastian is the great-grandson of Harold and Margaret Hall and the great-nephew of Alyson Hall, members of our congregation. Both baptisms were wonderful and we pray for Mary and Sebastian, their families and friends.
