St Catherine's School... Wonderful enrichment

We’re really proud to share our Enrichment Report with everyone.

It captures the moments that really matter - trying something new, going on trips, performing, representing school and building confidence along the way.

Every child has had the chance to take part. That’s really important to us.

The children summed it up best:
“I didn’t think I could do it, but I did.”
“Can we do it again?.”

We are delighted to announce the appointment of the Rev’d Stuart Samuels, currently Assistant Curate in Harpurhey Christchurch and Collyhurst the Saviour, Manchester Archdeaconry, Diocese of Manchester as the Team Vicar of the Benefice of Horwich & Rivington, Bolton Deanery in the Archdeaconry of Bolton, Diocese of Manchester.
Stuart writes:
I’m really looking forward to spending time in Horwich and Rivington and getting to know the area and its community. I do think there’s something special about the mix of character and scenery that Horwich and Rivington offer, and I’m so excited to experience it firsthand and settle into the area. As I prepare to leave Christchurch, Harpurhey, and Church of the Saviour in Collyhurst, it really does feel like the right moment for a fresh start for my family and me. As we prepare to move into the new house, please be praying for us, and know that we’ll be praying for you as well. God bless.
The Team Rector of Horwich and Rivington, Rev’d Nicola Butterworth writes,
It is with great joy that so many prayers have been answered and that we can now announce the appointment of Stuart Samuels as our new Team Vicar in Horwich and Rivington and we are delighted that he accepted this offer and responded to God’s calling. Stuart joins us following the completion of his curacy in Harpurhey and Collyhurst. We look forward to welcoming him, Abby and their children in the near future. Thank you to all those who have been involved in this process of discernment and to God for bringing him here.
The date for Stuart’s licensing is yet to be arranged.
