Horwich National Spiritualist Church

Horwich National Spiritualist Church Established in 1899 & serving the people of Horwich and beyond ever since. We are proud to be a part of our local community & welcome everyone.

We are a church dedicated to Spiritualism, and are affiliated with the Spiritualist National Union. Our church is a friendly place and we do not follow any strict creed, dogma or rituals although our services includes hymns, prayers and readings. We believe in eternal life and that a person doesn't actually die - they 'pass', meaning their 'soul' detaches from its physical body and passes into the

world of Spirit. The Spirit World is a place of absolute love and peace where the soul can communicate with our loved ones here on Earth. A soul also retains the characteristics and mannerisms of its former life and can sometimes be seen by the medium in how they looked and dressed when they were on the Earth plane. The mediums who visit our church prove this communication week in and week out by giving messages from the Spirit World to members of the congregation. It teaches us that there is no such thing as death and that we are in fact, simply going home.
