🌟 CHURCH WEEKENDS WITH CHILDREN WORLDWIDE! 🌟

What a great weekend! 🙌

Some of our Children Worldwide team recently had the privilege of leading the children’s ministry for Poynton Baptist Church’s weekend away at The Hayes in Derbyshire.

👧🧒 25 children spent the weekend exploring how we can encounter Jesus in our Work, Rest and Play — with a fantastic group of children and such a warm and welcoming church family.

💡 Planning a church weekend away?

Children Worldwide may be able to come alongside your church and help lead, support or resource your children’s ministry programme.

We’d love to help make sure the children are just as much a part of the weekend as everyone else! ❤️

☀️ WHAT AN AMAZING SUMMER! ☀️

Wow… what a summer it has been for the Children Worldwide family! 🙌🌍

Across the UK and further afield, our members have been incredibly busy — running holiday clubs, family events, church activities, community outreach, conferences and so much more!

This just shows a small glimpse of everything that has been happening however behind every photograph are children who have been welcomed, friendships that have been made, games that have been played, songs that have been sung, prayers that have been prayed and, most importantly, opportunities for children and families to hear about the love and hope of Jesus. ✝️

👏We love hearing about what our members are doing and celebrating the incredible variety of children’s ministry taking place in communities across the country and beyond.

As the summer holidays draw to a close and a new term begins, please join us in thanking God for everything that has happened — and praying for all those continuing to share Jesus with children and families week after week. 🙏

What an amazing summer. What an amazing team. And what a privilege to play our small part in helping children discover Jesus. 💙🌍

☀️ SUMMER ON THE ROAD! 🚗🎸

We love the incredible variety of children’s ministry our Children Worldwide members are involved in — and this summer, one of our members has quite literally been on the road! 🙌💙

As an itinerant children’s worker, they’ve been travelling to different churches, visiting Holiday Clubs and speaking at a variety of church outreach events, using songs, stories and puppets to share the good news of Jesus with children and families. 🎶📖☀️

From small gatherings to packed-out events, every one is an opportunity to connect with children, and families and encourage the local churches and help them discover more about Jesus. ❤️

🌍 Different places. Different ministries. One shared passion — reaching children with the hope of Jesus.

Such sad news, our thoughts and prayer are with everyone affected 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

We are devastated by the serious incident that took place at Big Church Festival 2026 today, in which a sign fell, injuring at least seven people, one of whom tragically lost their life.

First and foremost, all of our thoughts are with those who have been affected, their families and friends, and everyone who witnessed what happened.

Following today’s incident, we have made the decision to bring Big Church Festival 2026 to a close.

For all future updates, please visit our website.

🚓🐒 COPS AND ROBBERS… AND JOSEPH! 🐒🚨

Another fantastic Holiday Club to celebrate — this time from Otford in Kent! 🎉
Churches across the area joined forces for a brilliant ‘Cops & Robbers’ Holiday Club, with helpers coming from an amazing five different churches. We love seeing churches working together to share Jesus with children in their community! ❤️

Across the week, 51 different children attended, with around 40 joining the fun each day, supported by a fantastic group of adult and teenage helpers. 🙌 Using John Hardwick’s ‘Cops & Robbers’ Holiday Club material, the children journeyed through the incredible story of Joseph — discovering through games, activities, teaching and plenty of laughter how God was at work throughout his life. And, of course, Charlie the monkey 🐒 couldn't miss out on all the fun either!

It’s wonderful to see all the amazing activities our Children Worldwide members have been doing this summer to equip churches and help bring the Bible alive for children. 💙

🌍✨ SHINING FOR JESUS IN KENYA! 🇰🇪 ✨🌍

What an incredible week! We love hearing about the amazing work being done by members of the Children Worldwide family across the world.
Last week, a fantastic Holiday Club in Kenya welcomed over 400 children and young people, aged 3–18, all exploring the theme:

🌟 “Shining for Jesus everywhere we go!” 🌟

Alongside the school teachers, the week was supported by a brilliant team from St James Church in Coventry, who joined in with Bible teaching, activities and plenty of fun.
And there was certainly plenty happening! 🙌 Children enjoyed bracelet making, sewing, first-aid classes, football and volleyball tournaments, as well as a brilliant talent show! ⚽🏐🧵🎤

But at the heart of it all was the opportunity for hundreds of children and young people to hear about Jesus and discover how they can shine His light wherever they go. ❤️
A huge thank you to everyone who served, taught, organised, encouraged and made the week possible.🙏

🌍This is Children Worldwide — supporting, encouraging and celebrating quality Christian children’s work, wherever it happens. 💙

☀️ WHAT A SUMMER!!! 🙌💙

We absolutely love hearing what our members are getting up to — and here's another fantastic example! 😎

One of our members has just finished a two-day Holiday Club, welcoming over 60 children each day! 🎉

The children enjoyed a special visit from Peter, who shared how Jesus became his best friend and changed his life. And we especially loved hearing from one parent whose daughter went home and was still reciting the Bible verse she'd learnt! 📖❤️

And that's just part of a very busy summer for this member — taking 19 young people to Whitemoor Lakes, helping provide a three-day Holiday at Home for 60 older people, and now the Holiday Club, with an all-age celebration service still to come this Sunday! 😅🙌

🙏 Please keep all our members, their teams and every child and young person and their families in your prayers.

🌍 CHILDREN WORLDWIDE ISN’T JUST IN THE UK! 🌍

While we love celebrating everything our members are doing here in the UK, the clue really is in our name — we have members overseas too, we really are Children Worldwide! 💙

Join us as we celebrate the 8th Children Worldwide Kenya National Annual Conference, in partnership with Word of Faith Bethesda. 🇰🇪🙌

From 11–14 August, Sunday School teachers, pastors and parents are coming together around this year’s theme, ‘Going Deeper’ – Luke 5:4–6.

It’s a fantastic opportunity for those passionate about reaching children to be inspired, equipped, resourced and encouraged, as well as worshipping and sharing fellowship together.

🙏 Please join us in praying for Pastor Godfrey Omole, our National Director in Kenya, and our Kenyan team members as well as everyone involved in the conference — we pray that these few days will strengthen and equip many more people to make a lasting difference in the lives of children.

🎉 EQUIPPING OTHERS TO REACH CHILDREN! 🎉
While many of our Children Worldwide members are busy running children's events this summer, one of our team has been busy building and creating something a little different! 🙌💙

All Aboard is a fantastic new primary school assembly resource, packed with ready-to-use video assemblies designed to help churches and children's workers connect with their local schools. 🏫🎬

If you already visit schools — or would love to but aren't quite sure where to start — this could be just the resource you need!

At Children Worldwide, we love seeing our members not only reaching children themselves, but equipping and encouraging others to do the same. 🌟
