An encouraging story from the Enable the Children team who we support as a church.
Meet Teddy!
When Teddy joined World Hope International’s Enable the Children program in 2018, he was just one year old and had been diagnosed with hydrocephalus. He had poor head control and couldn’t sit on his own.
But with therapy, supportive equipment, school support, and a team cheering him on, Teddy kept reaching new milestones. He learned to hold his head up. He learned to sit. He learned to crawl. And eventually, he began walking with crutches.
Then came a moment no one will forget. Teddy took his steps without them.
Today, Teddy can walk independently! Every step represents years of care, encouragement, and Teddy’s own determination.
