Although we are not a traditional church, we do hold to the traditional teachings the church has held for many centuries, we just express them in a contemporary way. Central to our beliefs is that Jesus Christ dies on a cross for our forgiveness and rose again so that we may have a relationship with God. This week we looked at Creation and it has given us lots to think about. This Sunday is looking at the book of Exodus and the topic of slavery. Feel free to join us.

📕 We are continuing to take an honest look at the Bible’s seven toughest topics each Sunday.
🤔 Based on God’s Book by Dr. Andrew Ollerton, this series explores the topics of Creation, Slavery, Warfare, Suffering, Miracles and Exorcisms, S*x, Heaven, Hell, and the Afterlife.

Last Sunday we launched our new series called God’s Book, an honest look at the Bible’s 7 toughest topics.

Our Life Groups will be exploring the topics as well. Come and find one that you can attend to discuss things more.

Join us this Sunday 18th January at 10:30am at Horncastle Community Centre for a look at Science and Faith in the light of the first book of the bible.

Happy two Ronnies day! Today is the day when we light four candles on out advent wreath. We are celebrating Mary but the readings also focus on the importance of Joseph. Today you can worship at 9.30am at Holy Trinity Tattershall. We are in HT church while awaiting essential repairs to St Michael's Coningsby which will be completed in the New Year. You can also join us at 11am at St Peter's Woodhall Spa. Both services ar Holy Communion and will be led by Revd Sall.
3pm Today 21st Dec Margaret Forman is leading a Nativity service at St Peter's Stixwould local children will be taking part and Margaret will be narrating.

Tonight at 7pm St Mary's Kirkby on Bain are holding their Carol Service which is being led by Revd Barbara with Andrew Price on the organ this is the last one in our group of parishes.

Today is also the shortest day - and looking at the weather I am not sure it will get light properly for a long time today so stay safe and well wherever you are today. Only 3 sleeps to go!! 'O Oriens'
