Today, the day we call Maundy Thursday, is the day in Holy Week when Christians remember how Jesus ate a final meal with his friends, when he took on the role of a servant, washing their feet. Whilst they were eating he broke a loaf of bread and after giving thanks to God he shared both that, and some wine with those who were there, telling them that whenever they shared these in the future they were to remember him. In the Christian church today we continue to do this in our service of Holy Communion. This song reminds us of the significance and importance of sharing and remembering. May you be blessed in all your rememberings today.

Today is Passion Sunday and the bible readings (Ezekiel 37: 1 - 14 The Valley of dry bones and John 11: 1 - 45 The raising of Lazarus) remind us that even in the midst of the darkest and most impossible of situations God brings hope of better things to come. It's a message that so many people in our country, and across the world need to hear today. This worship song set in the context of the Chronicles of Narnia poignantly reflects that Jesus faced the worst of all circumstances, but God was able to achieve the impossible, offering all of us freedom from sin and abundant, eternal life - not just for the future but in the here and now. CS Lewis portrays this very appropriately in the life of Aslan the lion.

This music video is actually mainly about Aslan as he portrays Jesus Christ in the world of Narnia.~The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe~Prince Caspian~The V...

Today's bible reading recounts the time when Jesus talked with a woman from Samaria by the well outside her village. It reminds us that everyone is valued and loved by God, regardless of who we are, what's happened to us in life, or what we think about ourselves. You can read about it in John's gospel chapter 4, verses58 - 42. This worship song reminds us that we can all be refreshed with the "lifegiving" water that Jesus offers, meeting the deepest needs of our lives.
