What a great meeting for worship! Slightly chaotic… seeds, soil and Quaker worship aren’t usually combined but it was a great way to involve our littlest members. Entertaining for the grown ups too! And the garden is blooming already.

We were so happy to have 23 people at our first monthly gathering, bringing the Hoddesdon Quaker meeting back to life after it was laid down almost 15 years ago!

We were inspired with readings by Louis Armstrong and Shakespeare, heard from Advices and Queries, shared fantastic food and spent time chatting and getting to know one another.

One couple who lived over the road said how pleased they were to see the meeting restarted and joined us for the first ever Quaker meeting!

A perfect start and we can’t wait to do more ♥️
