My pet might make a noise – is this a problem?
"Barks, meows, chirps, or braying—is a noisy pet welcome at church? Absolutely! If you are worried your pet might make a noise during our Celebration of Animals on 21 June, please don't be. It is not a problem at all; in fact, it’s all part of the celebration! Bring them along as we look at Genesis and celebrate the covenant God made with all of creation. Join us at 10am! 🦜🐾

St Cuthbert's is a friendly bunch, and we absolutely love to see new faces at our celebrations. We are so excited to gather at Isabel Christie Park on Sunday 21 June at 10am to celebrate God's animals! To help us look after our lovely local park, what should you do if your pet makes a mess? It's not a problem at all—just remember to bring your own poo bags to clear up after them, and don’t forget to pop the used bags in the park bins 😊. Thank you for helping us keep the community space clean for everyone! 🌳

"Do I need to bring water/food for my pet?"
Preparing your packing list for the Celebration of Animals on Sunday 21 June? Don't forget your picnic rug or a comfortable chair. As for your pets, water bowls will be provided on-site to keep them hydrated. You are very welcome to bring along their favorite treats if it helps keep them settled and happy during the service. We know that bringing a pet to a busy park can sometimes feel a bit overwhelming for them. If you'd prefer to leave your pet in the quiet of home but would still love for them to be a part of our Celebration of Animals on 21 June, we have a perfect alternative! We are pleased to announce that The Revd Heather Ross, currently Assistant Curate in the Benefice of Rye Park, St Cuthbert in the Diocese of St Albans, has been appointed as Associate Minister in the Cheshunt Team. This is a self-supporting, part-time role.

Heather’s licensing service will take place on Tuesday 21st July at 7.30pm at St James’ Church Goff’s Oak.

Today we have a combined service at St Catherine's & St Paul's Church - opposite Morrisons in Hoddesdon town.
St Cuthbert's will be closed today, but don't worry if you've turned up not knowing - the start time at St C's & P's is 10.30, so you've got time to relocate!
