Assalam Walikum these are the candidates listed to become boardroom members for Hitchin Mosque.
Only membership subscribers can vote on Sunday 30th June between 12-3pm in person on the day.
Sister's who are members or anyone who can't make vote on the day can pickup ballot paper at the mosque from any committee member & hand back to a committee member Insha'Allah

AsalamuAlaikum Brothers & Sisters of Hitchin and surrounding areas.

This is to notify everyone publicly, there is a Hitchin Masjid General Election on 30th June 2024.

We have a great opportunity for anybody wishing to join the Masjid and become a Board member. Note, There are some Rules as shown on the picture attached. If you are lucky to be elected a board member, you then have the chance to be selected to be part of the “6 team committee” for Hitchin Masjid.

Naturally, you should be someone who has a willingness to assist or participate in ideas to improve the Masjid for the sake of the community. Some admin and computer skills would be desirable. You will work as a team and assist in the day to day running of the Masjid and may even cordinate events and respond to general public enquiries - Emails, phone calls, meetings with schools, police , local Muslim and non-Muslims etc.

NOTE : This is a voluntary position. Should you wish to apply, please complete and submit nomination form to Masjid at the earliest possible.
