Alhamdulillah, we would like to sincerely thank and make du'a for all the brothers who stepped forward and put themselves forward to serve the Hitchin Mosque. 🌙 The Dhul Hijjah crescent has been sighted at the Hilal observatory in Tumair.

Accordingly:

🗓️ Tomorrow, Monday, will be the 1st of Dhul Hijjah 1447 AH.
🕋 Tuesday next week, 9 Dhul Hijjah, will be the Day of Arafah.
🐑 Wednesday, 10 Dhul Hijjah, will be Eid Al-Adha.

🤲 May Allah accept our righteous deeds and grant our pilgrims an accepted Hajj and rewarded efforts.

We are pleased to announce that Hitchin Mosque is launching a special programme for our elders (40+).
This is a valuable opportunity to refresh and strengthen our connection with the Qur’an and Ṣalāh. As we know, seeking knowledge has no end, and learning the words of Allah ﷻ brings immense reward and barakah in our lives.
🔹 Main focus of the course:
Revision and memorisation from Surah Al-Fātiḥah to Surah Al-Zilzāl (core and essential part)
Option to continue memorisation after Surah Al-Zilzāl
Learning selected important parts of the Qur’an
Guided recitation practice
Essential du‘ās of Ṣalāh
Whether you are starting again or looking to improve, this course is designed to support you step by step.
